August 2011
Yeah, I know. Blame work (had to work overtime and I have limited Internet access there) and living on the West Coast. I was so frustrated!
But I finally had a chance to listen to the song and I really like it. While it’s not as headbangin’ as “Since U Been Gone” or as upbeat as “My Life Would Suck Without You,” “Mr. Know It All” has a great message. It’s the perfect song for when a guy becomes ultra-possessive. Or for when a guy has the wrong perception of you and nothing you say or do can change his mind. (I hate people, not just men, who are like that.)
I’ve only listened to the song once, but I’m sure it’ll grow on me. I’m actually tempted to record the audio from KellyClarkson.com on my phone so I can listen to it all the time. But then, by the time the single is available for purchase (on September 5th!), I might be sick of the song. And I don’t want that! So I’m gonna wait for five days until I download it off iTunes.
Do you think waiting for a couple of years is worthy to be paid back by just listening to a leaked one when the premiere is in 3 days?
It’s like wasting your whole college life and never getting a job. Do you freaking get what I mean?
Plus, knowing that Kelly feels robbed every time a song of hers leaked is enough to make me feel little. Why can’t I do anything about it? I just don’t understand how people are soooooooo eager to bring her down. She’s too HIGH, I know. But really, crab mentality? You don’t f**king know how much attention she spent just to give us a good record and you listened to the leaked version. Really? Those who did are impossibleThis is very heartbreaking.
Don’t you think it’s UNFAIR that it turns out that you didn’t wait for a new song but a LEAK, instead?
THINK ABOUT IT.
